Packaging & Stability

Cosmetic wand-package testing: temperature and altitude

The study separated temperature-related formulation and applicator behavior from reduced-pressure leakage risk in three anonymized package variants.

Selected findingAt 40 °C, maximum losses were 93 mg, 52 mg, and 51 mg; the 93 mg result came from one anomalous unit, while the maximum among the remaining Variant A units was 46 mg.

Aerosol Characterization

Fragrance aerosols: particle size and chamber counts

The study characterized differences among the tested fragrance aerosols in spray particle-size distribution and time-resolved chamber counts under defined conditions.

Selected findingGroup-average D[4,3] was 31.49 µm for Test Article A and 75.03-89.77 µm for Comparator groups B-D.
